Happy Thanksgiving
The title says it all. Hope you all have and had a great day with friends and family.
A nice topping on a mashed potato world.

So I think I was overly optimistic when we signed up for Internet service. It's been how long since I posted last? This is why I will never "Tweet". I'd post something like, "There's a huge branch falling off a tree...", then not hear from me for 6 months, all the time assuming I had been crushed by said branch. All is well with the Smith family. Olivia is now 10 months old and growing up too fast. Work is going well for me. I have been involved with our most recent round of route adjustments in our office. That's been a real hoot! Lisa has been busy with working at our church part time helping with childcare and being a homemaker. No promises for another post soon, but I'll do my best. Thanks for checking in!
Well, last night I went go-karting with some friends at Skykart. What a blast! On our second race I got the fastest lap time out of our group. (I say that because there were two die hard members of that track that beat me.) If you haven't gone karting before, you must go. As a side note it's 12:30 and 97 degrees right now. The forecast is a high of 101 degrees, an all time record for Seattle! Thank God for central air conditioning. Mmmmm, cold air. Maybe I should cook some steaks tonight...on the curb!
I played my 4th softball game today and we got rahsted. 12-1 loss! There's a 10 run mercy rule in our league so the ump called the game. The team we played was awesome and we managed to error on everything. Good times. Maybe we can pick up our dignity and win next week. On a much lighter note...Lisa and I saw the new Terminator movie on Wednesday. It was OK, but the 3rd one in the series is my favorite. At least we only paid the matinee price. Oh yeah, happy Father's Day to me!
Well, today we (Crossroads Bible Church) won our 3rd game. We are now 3 for 3. The team is about half Crossroads folk from our small group and the rest are from other churches in the area. I usually play in the outfield, but today I owned 2nd base...only because there were no critical plays there. I can dream can't I? It's definitely become the highlight of my week.
